Winemaking:
The Estate Vidal was harvested at -12 degrees Celsius and pressed the same morning. The juice was cold settled after pressing and then racked into stainless steel for a long, slow fermentation at cool temperatures, to enhance aromatics and preserve fruitiness. The wine was protein stabilized and filtered before bottling.
Appearance:
Golden straw with a clear hue.
Aromas:
A fresh, ripe medley of concentrated tropical fruits, stone fruit and honey. Secondary perfume notes, honeysuckle, and crème brulee
Palate:
Rich with citrus fruits, honey, peach and apricot when entering the palate followed by fresh peach, tangerine, honeysuckle and floral notes. It is balanced and round on the palate with refreshing acidity to match the sweetness. A medium bodied wine with a long finish that lingers on the palate.
