The 2018 Estate Vidal, Frank’s Corner, was harvested for optimal flavour and balance of acidity. We hand-harvested to protect the integrity of the fruit
and whole cluster pressed in our gentle bladder press. Juice selection was made at the press pan to ensure there was not any over extraction of phenolic flavours from the grape skins. It was cold settled after pressing and then racked into stainless steel for a long, slow fermentation at cool temperatures, to
enhance aromatics and preserve fruitiness. The alcoholic fermentation was stopped when the fruit profile was ideal and a balanced expression was achieved. Our 2018 Vidal was then protein stabilized and filtered before bottling.

Tropical and citrus notes jump from the glass. Pineapple, guava, grapefruit, melon, banana and peach. A very concentrated and intense bouquet of sweet ripe fruit lift out of the glass with underlying notes of lemongrass, honey and herbs.
Sweet, ripe fruits and fresh acidity are balanced on the palate. A combination of citrus fruits and tropical fruits mirror the aromatics on the palate.
